The Department of Computer Science and Engineering hosted a CSI Sponsored “AGNIHACKATHON 2017“ from 15-02-2017 to 25-02-2017. The program was inaugurated by our Principal Dr.S.R.R.Senthilkumar. Dr.Srinivasan Alavandar (Head of Academics) and Dr.R.K.Selvakumar, (Prof/Head of CSE,PG –ACT) decorated the stage with their presence.
The main aim of this program was to develop system design and programming skils among young budding engineers.
The program started around 17 batches with 34 students presenting their project on titles like Smart library System, Smart attendance system, Smart student and staff web portal system, Smart staff and student performance analysis system, Smart Inventory system and Online examination system.
On 11th March 2017 the valedictory function was conducted. The prominent judges like Mr.Padmakumar Rajan, (Verizon Data Services, India Ltd), Dr.R.K.Selvakumar (Prof/Head of CSE,PG –ACT) and Dr.SriKrishnan (Prof/Head of CSE,UG –ACT) announced the results after inspecting each project includes feasibility study, requirement analysis, graphical design, model construction, Implementation and deployment. The best four projects were selected and awarded. All the other participants were offered with participants certificates.
The judges appreciated the students for their novelity and innovative ideas
Dr.R.K.Selvakumar thanked the Computer Society of India for essential credentials and for giving a wonderful platform to make occasion a grand success.
